Yeah, you can’t use an infestation as an excuse to miss class.

What’s worrisome is that kids may have a hard time reconnecting with others after months of virtual isolation.

My daughter just found out that school is going to go back to full time on campus on April 6th. She hasn’t been this excited in, oh a year.

You know the world’s out of joint when you start missing the “good ol’” head lice days

There’s always a silver lining if you look hard enough.

As much as I miss TB and polio, I guess.

Most schoolchildren today would not “get” such a lousy remark.

School ends in May or June depending on your state or district. Why go back with 2 to 3 months to go?

I wonder if head lice will decline for a while? They haven’t had a lot of opportunities to jump onto other people in the last year. Interesting thought.

I can remember the day I came home from kindergarten with a note pinned to my shirt that said “Scabies” in large unfriendly letters. My mom felt better after she read it and it turned out to be advice on lice prevention.

Ah, the days of capris sun and headlice!
