Yes, bought a house like that once, but it was on a hill with a great view and in a nice neighborhood. I was supposed to consult with my father before buying anything, but this was such a deal that I bought it first. He came to look at it and recommended that I tear it down. One of the first things I did was replace the plywood shower stall.
