Fred! Why are you being mean to Kitty? You guys became friends so explain yourself young man. This IS Kitty and not some lookalike right? Maybe that’s why you decided to ask politely and said ‘please’.

A neighbour’s two fully grown Alsatians cornered my cat, on her own territory… Didn’t end well for the two Alsatians…

My small beagle Phoenix used to corner my friend Larry’s cats when I visited him. Pheonix would stand off and bay his fool head off, then I would come over and carry him off. I’m just glad that Larry’s clouder recognized Phoenix as being nonthreatening and didn’t attack my beloved dumb hound dog.

I thought you and this kitty were friends. Why so mean Fred?

Love the episodes where the cat shows up. We’ve always had cats with our dogs.

Well, I had a Fred calendar in my kitchen and this month at the top Fred lead a night patrol with his two mates and on the bottom they saw a similar looking cat in shock. I wonder if that may be the end of a great friendship?

Either Fred has decided that the cat is no longer his friend or this is a different cat.

I’m not sure, but I think SusieB is right, and this is the cat that Fred became friends with. That would mean that this strip is a rerun. (Which is fine with me). Maybe we’ll find out for sure in the future; maybe not! :-)
