Uh, last time I checked Chad had no problem talking to girls and a lot of girls actually like Chad. And of course, we know how bad Nate is with talking to girls so it’s predictably going to fail.

Chad doesn’t even NEED to talk to girls. They already like him as is!

Wait, what? What’s going on? Chad is super popular with girls and never had any problems talking to them. If anything, Nate’s the one who should be going to Chad for advice. (not that he ever will, but you get what I mean)

Im back! Chad steps in to his office, just to be frazzled and dazzled from a large cylinder like shape he just stepped into. Rapidly, the cylinder shaped object starts going over 200 mph. Next thing he knew, he was in the Dazed and Confused Movie. Chad was slater, Nate was Pink, and Teddy was Wooderson. ¨Look at me man!¨ Said Teddy. They looked over and Chad was smoking. ¨Behind every good man there is a woman, and that woman was Martha Washington, man, and everyday George would come home, she would have a big fat bowl waiting for him, man, when he come in the door, man, she was a hip, hip, hip lady, man.¨ ¨Woah, Man.¨"Said Nate.

Nate helped Chad talk to Maya in one of the Big Nate novels. It would be interesting if Chad’s crush on Maya continues in the comic..

I know that nobody is gong to see this. but I don’t really care. so this is just gonna be a rant/PSA about two things. the first is my problem with modern big Nate. now keep in mind I have not read this series in over a month. I think my 3 years on Gocomics will be over soon, as I’ve found new and better online reading services, have become less interested in western cartoons as a whole and just don’t have the time to read for hours on end now like I could back in 2018. it sucks, but I do other things now. and the reason I started using Gocomics in the first place was because I wanted to read big Nate. And I have to thank big Nate because it introduced me to so many comics and series that I enjoyed tremendously. These include Foxtrot, Sarah’s Scribbles, BFGF syndrome (Which hasn’t been updated in over a year which makes me sad) and many more. but the reason that made me keep coming back to this site every day was simple. to read big Nate. and I don’t feel that urge to come back anymore. Why? because big Nate had a drop in quality. a pretty severe one too. not the humour or jokes, but the characters, and story arcs. oh god, the story arcs. I LOVE the old big Nate arcs. Soccer camp. Trudy. The new York chess trip. and SO many more that I absolutely LOVE. but the new ones are not very high quality and are honest to god boring. so I stopped. and that was it. I will check in every once in a while, but I’m probably gone forever. another reason? I have something else to compare it too. I recently read a series of comic books That changed how I perceive Media. That series is The Promised Neverland. this series is amazing. I love it SO much, and it uses a incredibly unique form of horror that it does so so well. it’s Writing is incredible and the characters……….. Oh My God. no other characters are as well written and perfected as much as these ones. there’s also hundreds of them. oh yeah by the way there are 20 books. it’s story is SO unique. continued in replies

Nate joined his friends as they walked out the cafeteria door. “Well, how did it go?” Francis asked. “I asked Dee Dee to meet me after school.” Nate told his friends about his talk with her. “Well, you have a few hours to think of a plan.” Teddy said. “I know, I know, but you can’t rush a great plan. And I’ve got one cooking up here as we speak!” Nate pointed to his forehead.

“Oh boy, this ought to be interesting.” Francis said, rolling his eyes. “We all know how Nate’s plans always end up working out.” “Yeah,” Teddy said with a smirk, “they ALWAYS work out SO WELL.” “You guys laugh now,” Nate said, “but you won’t be laughing when I win the bet!” He thought to himself, “Just as soon as I figure out what my next move is.”

People apparently hate Quincy for getting featured all the time, so here’s my perspective.

It’s so stupid that people hate Quincy all because of featured comments, it’s even more stupid than starting an argument on a spam comment. Look at Jones Hilburn and Gocomics Commenter. They’re doing stuff like Quincy and comment like everyday, nevertheless if they get featured or not. It’s not like getting featured will benefit you in anything. Only people who really get affected by Quincy are the people on this website 24/7.

I’ve been going through past commentary for comic strips and there is one question I would like to answer: would Nate and Dee Dee get together? Let me explain my thoughts on the matter:

Some people think that the answer is no because Lincoln Pierce said Dee Dee would have no romantic relationships with anyone. However, I’ve had a history of being surprised by the plot twists Pierce has sprung on us throughout the years. I think it is possible that he would do it as a huge plot twist, but maybe when the comic strip comes to an end.

Not that he would end the strip anytime soon, as Big Nate is still going strong. And who knows? Maybe it will happen. All I can say is, if it happens, I would happily support it. But until then, fanart and fanstories will have to satisfy us Nate x Dee Dee shippers.
