Stars galore all in one area. Could it be scripted? Chose Little Feat on the bluetooth devices. Gather in the kitchen for munchies and picture taking. Pull out a game board and all aboard for some fun. Go off to the local pub with friends and foe beers. Having a blissful time.

Too many of those in my life.

Competing monologues. Disconnection. Irrelevance.

And if you keep on talking to the people who don’t listen to the things that you are saying who do you think’s gonna hear?

Let me tell you about my grandkids…

Wait, wait, back the truck up, this only applies to the younger generations. So self absorbed, texting away, not listening to anything I want to tell them about my grandkids.

That’s not a conversation. It’s a babble, sometimes referred to as a “meeting.”

Quite an eclectic blog today …!

That is, unfortunately, the very definition of so many “conversations”! Also, it helps explain why I was, in group social events. always so taciturn, even laconic. My physical presence alone was my contribution to the Groupspeak, sometimes a babble (or was that Babel?) of many tongues, both literally and physically….
