Why have colorful computers never caught on. Apple tried it, and dell tried it, but for some reason, people seem to prefer plain black or white/beige computers. Do people think that boring looking computers are better?
While keeping track of the classic Sunday strips, I found that there was a whole week’s arc of beanie babies that for some reason Bill Amend did not repeat here in the classics. (Andy is a HUGE beanie baby junky in that arc). This happens occasionally and is a big reason why these classics are out of seasonal order.
Jason is missing out on an opportunity here. He could build his own Beowulf cluster of iFruit and have more computing power than he ever would have gotten in a standard PC (in those days)
I vaguely remember the iMac G3 computer. How long did they last? 4 years? Were they considered a marketing failure? I wonder if anyone is still using one. I had an original 1984 Mac computer and ended up giving it away. Always regretted that.
I know a few women who like mango-kiwi. Yes they do freak when a product is discontinued or out of stock. For them the shortages during the past year has been hell.

This woman needs to listen to her son. Jason can be a bit of a punk but there’s no denying he knows his computers.

One of the rarest original G3 iMacs was the orange one. Apparently it was a color few loved except in Denver and Knoxville, TN.
