I’m pretty sure the flowers weren’t too happy about Calvin sticking his nose into them.

Calvin didn’t make time, he just loves to complain.

Doc said, I shall walk very often in fresh air. I don’t like walking, without thinking something and seeing nothing. So I walk in a park and see beautiful flowers and blossoms!!Little flowers in spring are real works of art. No artist can make them so fine. I like looking at them carefully!!

Shows ’n Roses.

My current GF uses a perfume that reminds me of one my mom use to wear. When I told her that, she said it was actually Rose, Ginger and Sandalwood Essential Oil’s she mixed together.

All TV shows smell the same. Why bother?

I wonder how hard it would be to explain the concept of the ‘metaphor’ to ’Calvin ???

Try lavender instead. Maybe it’ll help you relax. It sure does that for me.

I don’t think I had anywhere near as vivid and crazy imagination when I was a six old like Calvin does! But then again, I was a normal boy and had friends to play with. I was a PITA when I was in grade school, though. LOL!! And up until I got out of the third grade, my parents made regular trips to see the principal.

My boys have discovered that smelling a flower sometimes leads to the discovery of an interesting bug. Luckily no one’s been stung yet.

Calvin has no wristwatch on for panels 1 thru 3, then looks at his watch in panel 4. This kid has magical powers beyond conjuring imaginary tiger friends!

In the second/third panels Calvin is not wearing a wristwatch but in the fourth he appears to be looking at his watch.

I have noticed that some busy people are never to busy to talk, just to busy to listen.

It seems there is always time to rant.

What 6-year-old knows words like “mundane”? What stuffed tiger knows words like “edifying”?

Ahhh… taking expressions literally…

Keep smelling the roses. If you can’t get the smell, it could mean you have the Covid.

And hopefully your mouth starts to shut!

That kind of stuff is not for kids aged six. They are fine after a bout of ups and downs in life for an adult. Right now for Calvin the idiot box would suffice. Not to mention the gross club held on the tree house.

my red roses do -smell good. But they’ve been in my yard since ±1975 so may make a difference.?
