Why use piglets when weiner dogs are so readily available?
Hey guy-in-yellow-shirt, you don’t get out much do you?
Sounds like the fans would come for the piglet race and maybe stay for the game. (And I rooted for the ’62 Mets (W-40 L-120).)
Why piglets? Why not donkeys or sheep?
The Texans are just a step above the Jets, and that’s really looow!
That’s an idea I proposed on a sports blog a year ago — college, not NFL. No traction whatsoever.
Coaches hate the concept, since it gives a quantum leap to second guessing.
They’re only recently coming around to the idea of going for it more often on fourth down. Sabermatics is evidently not so transferable.
The NCAA got overtime right. Some day the NFL will figure that out.
Nah: combine it with the Houston Livestock Shoe & Rodeo and let the tie be broken with a little bit of Mutton Bustin’.
