And we don’t want you here messin’ up the gene pool. Of course the gene pool has a lot of pond scum in it.

That should read ‘social media zombies’, i.e., all those idiots who cannot be separated from their smart phones for more than a few seconds without experiencing withdrawal symptoms. I do own one but, unlike the vast majority of the human population, use it for making and receiving phone calls and an occasional text message.
