It’s a good thing I didn’t over spend on the Yoga a bought for $1,600 that I mostly use to listen to podcasts with the lid closed while I sleep.

When my wife got her CPA, I purchased a new laptop for her. About two years ago, we had the hard disk replaced with a SSD. The CPU is still about as fast as they get.

And what “price” would you consider a fair price? A new one is easy to justify.. you could do what you do now.. but so much faster leaving you more time to do.. nothing useful.

MacBook Pro from 2013 still going strong. Nothing wrong with the hardware, does everything I need. Just built right, just say ‘no’ to Windows computers.

if all betty does on that pc is surf, shopping and videos she definitely can save money getting the right computer. Both windows and apple are over priced for those.
