It’s pretty surely a little bit wasteful. But here’s an interesting take on the RIGHT way to help the economy, the government, and the people. Dion may be one of the wisest of the common comentators.
It’s lonely at the top. This will be remembered as one of America’s greatest financial maneuvers. Money for people who need it, not the super rich. What a concept.
Republicans only think it’s wasteful, because there is oversight and the billionaires can’t use up the funds before the small businesses have a chance. This bill will in most ways help all of Americans, even the wealthy, but it will help about 80 percent the most. Some of us that are far from the 10 percent let alone the 1 percent, won’t get a check or direct deposit, but that’s OK too.
If you receive a check and don’t need it, send it to a charity you like. A local zoo that has lost income. A food bank. Or whatever. As it is. I’m thinking the vast majority of Americans receiving these checks have bills they can pay off or down. Even if some on the higher end of income receiving a check buys a new computer or such, that will help the over all economy as well. This is meant to boost the economy and people spending this check will boost the economy.
Fixing infrastructure will create jobs fixing bridges and roads. Improving highways for increased traffic, etc. That’s how you create jobs.
Vaccinating people will keep the economy moving, as well. I can’t wait until I can get mine, but will wait until it’s my turn.

Republicans hate to see money going to help the people, instead of into their pockets
