Budding artist. You were so fortunate to have a teacher who recognized your talent and encouraged you.

Miss Rosetti is crying with happiness by being mentioned by you. Ginger also knew that she was going to be with you for the rest of your life. She also knew that we will remember all of you for the rest of our lives.

Thank heavens for teachers who inspire creativity and individuality instead of stuffing students into a box

You make it look so easy, you would think anybody could do it. I know from experience that is not true. I admire people who can take pencil and paper and draw something recognizable. Kudos to Miss Rosetti!

There should be more Miss Rosettis in education. They are definitely needed!

I tried to draw a cat once. It wasn’t pretty. Or even remotely cat-like.

Love this. Love the instant memory flash it brought back: my dad was friends with an artist who had studied under Claude Monet near the end of Monet’s life and when I was 16, we were out to dinner with him and his wife and daughter. I tried to draw a horse on a piece of paper and M. Leeb gave me an art lesson on the spot, demonstrating the essence of the horse in circles and talking about how you go from there. He so earnestly wanted me to succeed at getting good at this, while I knew I had no particular talent for it. My sister, on the other hand, is a gifted artist, so I guess he expected me to be, too. But it was warm and kind of him to take that interest and time and I’ll never forget it. Thank you for bringing back that memory, and kudos to your teacher for her kindness, likewise never forgotten.

It was fate! This series sounds promising, I’m looking forward to it. Hoping the “dunno” goes a bit long too. ;)
