I blame being a purebred.

Most dogs would come back with two or three if they could.

Niblet looks for the longest stick she can find on our walks. She kind of bites the bark off the middle and carries it the whole way back. I’m sure there are videos of her on Facebook. Other walkers are charmed at the site of a little dog toting a big stick. :)

Stick to facts, please!

She’s a real stickler for perfection!

I blame spring windiness.

I know just how she feels. The times I’ve come home empty-handed from a shopping trip. But my husband is happy.

I once took a pencil drawing class at a community college in Santa Barbara. To study shading and form, we were to draw a stick. While the rest of the class spent up to an hour selecting the “perfect” stick, I picked up the first stick I found and spent the time drawing it balanced on the head of a belly dancer.

Maybe you’re just stuck up.

Maybe you just need to branch out.

You know…looking for a “bone” instead of a stick; after panel #2 this could’ve gone in an entirely different direction!
