Sailors are notorious for two vices, coffee, and liqour. While stationed in Spain, the base paid for a counselor to come over, set up camp, and “help” those for whom alcohol was a problem. She visited each command, and was shocked when hubby told her he doesn’t drink. She fixated on his coffee intake, and told him he had an addiction to it.A few weeks later, we headed to the fish market early one morn, to get the freshest catch of shrimp. As we passed one of the locally owned bars, who should stagger out, still drunk, but the counselor. She begged us to join her for a drink or two, we said no, thanx.Back at the house, hubby phoned his command, told them what we had seen. She was gone within a week.

As I have stated before, “I don’t have a problem with caffeine, I have a problem WITHOUT it”.
