Biden has now issued a decree that everyone will be first-come, first-served starting May 1st. (At least it wasn’t April fools day). In my state, we’ve gotten a tad over 20% done at this point. If the vaccine remains available, at that rate we can do another 25% or so by the deadline. That puts most of the remainder on the young side of the tiers in any case.
In the January newsletter from my health system they said we would be notified when we could sign up for the vaccine, based on eligibility, and a Covid risk assessment. Well, yesterday I received my email. Today I went online and picked an appointment time next Tuesday afternoon. Upon receiving the first dose I can then schedule the second. As much as I dislike getting shots – Yippie!
