As far as homeschooling, we homeschooled both of our kids. My daughter, who is now in her 30’s, scored 1600 on the SAT (that was the max score when she did that.) SHe was a National Merit Scholar at the University of Oklahoma, 4.0 GPA, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude. I hope you don’t get the idea that I am one of those parents that cannot NOT brag about their kids, but there are some who say that I am.
My son is a different story but we are still proud of him. He has significant cognitive and physical challenges which require him to have 24/7 custodial care. In spite of those issues, he is (most of the time) a joy to be around. And there are very few people that I have found that have the sports trivia knowledge that he does. He is the consummate Oklahoma University Football fan and constantly surprises us at what he knows about the team. He listens to all the local sports network radio stations and does not seem to forget anything they say about OU football.

Seems he spends most of his time in the sac. Not healthy for a growing boy who wears a baseball cap!

Some children never want to leave home and she can’t just kick him out. By the way she needs to use the cup handle to avoid getting burnt.
