@Number Three Today’s Strip IS funny it’s no surprise that our HERO Mr Andrew Capp has magical powers when he strolls near a pub and does a disappearing act especially when he saw the Vicar approaching :o) my avatar is a spoof of a doormat with go away instead of welcome , where can I get one of them ?,to keep door to door salesmen , religious sect members and political Canvasers away , how was your day? our day should be busy but calm I hope , shopping done together this morning , and we are both in a good mood, keep safe, thanks for caring and might I suggest that you watch the movie “Dirty Dancing” with the late lamented Patrick Swayze starring as a dancing tutor to a naive girl
Don’t the British have outdoor drinking, in nice weather, like I’ve seen in France and Germany? All those tables with umbrellas and couples drinking and enjoying the fresh outdoor spring air.
“…but I lost him as we got to The Rose and Crown. You see, all these years he’s thought it said, ‘The Rose and Clown,’ and he so wants to provide truth in advertising. Don’t say a word, I’m off to BINGO.”
OK, first off the Vicar’s question just begged for a snappy answer to a stupid question. “Just off for a walk?” “Walk, what, where am I and how did it get here?”
And that’s Andy’s version of Attention Deficient Disorder.
@Number Three I’m so dizzy , my head is spinning :o) , out of the blue Alex phoned and came for me to get my anti Covid19 virus jab , my next one is on April 222 Connie’s birthday
I have seen a mat on Facebook that says "Did you call ahead first?’
I’d probably get that one. When my cousin comes to visit our house, he always checks in with my Dad first to see if it’s OK. We’re not the most sociable family where we just allow anyone to pop in as and when they like. Not that anybody is able to right now in these strange and weird times.
So happy to hear you got your COVID jab. May Connie’s birthday be somewhat a blessing to you when you receive your second one.
Tomorrow I’m meeting up with my friend from school who I have not seen in almost 7 months. Should be fun.

You didn’t lose him. You just left him there. You could have stayed there with him, but you didn’t.

Seems like in the earlier strip she’d have gone in with him…And if she knows or even suspects where he is, she hasn’t lost him.

“Lost” him? You know exactly where he is; you just told the vicar. Tut tut, Flo.

Having your arms folded tight against your chest is an awkward way to walk. You could easily lose your balance.

We can guess who chose the route for the walk.

Mark Twain famously called golf “a good walk, spoiled.” I’d have to think that a stroll with Andy would fall into that same category…………
