Hello fellow Flo’s Friends. Since today is May 1st, I was wondering if any of you remember celebrating May Day (BEFORE the Soviets ruined it for us in the 1960s)? Things like dancing around the May Pole, crowning a May Queen and many outside activities.
After 30+ years of marriage, my wife still finds it difficult to believe I can be thinking about “nothing”. We men find it hard to believe women are always thinking about something. If we had to do that, we’d be having heart attacks at 20… or our brains would just explode. This is why fishing is so great for men: it allows us to look like we’re doing something, when our minds are actually just coasting in neutral gear. (Ladies, this really is restorative for us.)
