One at a time, Peter, one at a time.

Peter was honestly ahead of his time. These days, even pandemic excepted, a lot of teachers are pretty much expected to have the curriculum and required assignments available online.

A high school boy writes with a pencil? We gave up using pencils in grade three in Primary school.

I remember my math teacher telling us to do the even problems and show our work. This was because the book had the odd problems listed in the back.

Open mouth, insert foot, Peter!

Some teachers just have it in for certain students…

I remember getting math homework assignments that were only part of the lesson. It was an odd way of setting forth our homework to be sure. I guess it was to keep us on our toes, like Peter should have been when the teacher was assigning the problems.

Just bet Jason he can’t do it in under an hour… ☺

In math, I did every problem assigned plus everything else!

I decided this was not a game of dodge ball but something I needed to know if I was serious about the subject.

A lot of the unassigned problems were on the tests so I breezed through those.

Got lots of those baleful looks when I finished the tests and left the room early!

I don’t do math no more. English neither.

In tenth grade, I had math first period, and my bus would get me to school a good 45 minutes early. My friend would also get there early, and we’d spend that time looking at that day’s chapter and then spend the rest of the time (including during the class itself) doing all the problems instead of paying attention to the teacher.
