Coach yesterday asked Peter how far he can throw. You call THAT “not very”, Peter?

I was never a great athlete. The only thing I had was an arm. I could throw a football really far. I could blaze in a fastball with supersonic speed (OK, so I exaggerate). The problem was total lack of accuracy. I usually came nowhere close to hitting the target.

He’s doing better than I probably would. Feet are a pretty small target.

It takes some practice to hit a moving target with a thrown projectile – football, dodge ball, soccer ball, volley ball, tennis ball, whatever. I’d probably be willing to see how hard he’s willing to work at getting better. At least at the high school level, grit, hard work and a decent skills coach can get you a long way.

The receiver has some responsibility also, from a former QB.
