Woman: I used to feel bad if he didn't get a reservation at the perfect restaurant, the perfect valentine and the perfect boquet. Now I'd be happy if he tossed the card on the counter still in the bag he bought it in.
Better still, tolEDo, just describe it to her.
Less travel = less trouble.
“Wow, Honey, I saw this AMAZING card, and it reminded me so much of you. It had all these roses, see, and on the inside was something about travelling a road together. Or was it about crossing a river? Something like that. Wait, that doesn’t make any sense. Shouldn’t the picture have been a landscape, then? The roses must have been on a different card…
“Anyway, I was GONNA buy it for you but they were asking $7.95 for it, and I was just ‘Oh come ON!’ I mean, you know I love you, but eight bucks for a piece of cardboard with a photo that’s not even in focus? It was even sealed in plastic like it was by Michaelangelo or something. Get real. Am I right? Am I right?”

So your saying that I can just leave it in the bag? That should save some time, care, thought, etc. Count me in!

I’ll just email a picture of a card, with BCCs.
