Raclette is so good! Every time I go to the Annecy cartoon festival in France (I live three hours away from it) eat it together with friends is a tradition I really love ♡.
Dating myself, but….back in the olden days of college dorm living, the universal (although technically verboten) cooking appliance was the electric popcorn popper. I can’t recall anyone making grilled cheese but boxed Mac and cheese worked swell as well as any and all canned soups and pastas. Plus the popcorn, of course.
It doesn’t have to be cheese, of course… You can keep anything toasty warm while also grilling. You really have to watch the video to appreciate the convenience and versatility of the Raclette Grill!
Please don’t tell my husband about this. He had to have an Insta-pot (uses), an air fryer (doesn’t use), a sous vide (doesn’t use), this certain skillet and that certain pot (stacking up in the cupboard)……..and the list goes on. I’m like Amanda, but I don’t say anything because ~ HE COOKS!!

Had to google it. It’s a grill for exactly what the comic says. What’s up with the Swiss obsession with melted cheese?

You could use a curling iron to grill cheese…but if you did, would you ever want to use that curling iron on your hair again?
