Tell me about it I had started getting fitted for an upper denture before the pandemic hit in January of 20 and was suppose to get reconstructive surgery on my lowers my mouth has been in dentistry limbo ever since.
My regular dentist has resumed doing cleanings, and has replaced one filling for me this year. I expect, though, that the larger clinics would at least have a huge backlog whenever they start doing everything again.
My dental office only restricted visits for a short time when the pandemic began, since they already had strict safety and sterilization practices in place. They upgraded their masks, required that patients wear masks when not in the chair, and spaced out appointment times so there was no need to sit in the waiting room. When checking in they did the usual temperature check and asked the health questions, then escorted you right to an exam room. After that everything proceeded as usual.

I also prefer a long-distance relationship to my dentist. But to me it’s only long enough when I don’t see him.

With the advent of remote surgery, that really shouldn’t be all that hard.

He’s not afraid of any disease, old or new. He’s only worried of losing his fingers, which he should considering he’s a sadist.
