Every time I see a mayfly joke, I think of a scene in the TV show THE WILD WILD WEST where this dying extremely elderly man whispers to the heroes, “Ephemerida,” (mayfly genus) before he dies. The guy’s family aged really fast so the name fit.
I hope the Judge Hoffman referenced here is the same incompetent Julius Hoffman of The Chicago Seven renown. Julius vs. Abbie, and we all know who won!
