It has occurred to me that the publishing companies Snoopy sends his manuscripts to are run by cats. Thatās why his "anti cat " stories are always getting rejected.;D
Back in the early 1990ās Senior Year Engineering students at my school used to wallpaper their walls with rejection letters to their resumes. We all got jobs eventually. It was simply considered a sign of how hard you were searching. If your buddy had more āsquare footageā covered than you did, it was motivation to get some more resumes out.
I was among the first generation that didnāt have to depend on a typewriter ā but I can say that keyboards were surprisingly more comfortable as a pillow than one might expect.
