Do we know the difference between a sewer and a storm drain? They are not connected. Eddie’s effluvium would not have been in a storm drain unless he was down there with the aliens.

Captain Eddie wasn’t at the end of the storm drain. This has nothing to do with Captain Eddie, other than hearing their screams. Maybe Lucy saw the UFO.

Sorry JanCinVV but in many old cities they are connected and in times of heavy rain fall are allowed to overflow into a river or lake.
