That would have been my Dad if he were still alive in this time. He LOVED Spam. We ate it at least once a week with eggs and toast. Also canned hash or chopped beef, all of which came canned or in a glass juice size jar for the chopped beef. Do they even make that stuff anymore?

I like Spam (the canned kind, not the electronic kind). I will eat it about 4 times a year. Too many other things to eat to have it more often.

I grew up eating spam because it was what we could afford. It was less bad than a lot of other inexpensive dinners.

While I loved Spam growing up, I could never stomach scrapple! Ugh. Popular in the NE US. I rarely see it here in the southern coast.
