I’m the same way. For my older friends and family, the problem isn’t that hard, but I like to pretend to be that old electrician and be like “Oh, yeah, this is a tricky one. Things aren’t was easy as they were 5 years ago.” Technology is harder the older you get. Why be a jerk about it?

The only new technology that I have a problem with is touch screens. My fingers have very low conductivity and most screens (including my wife’s smartphone) can’t detect them. So, no Tesla for me.

So what was the real problem, Minecraft or Animal Crossing? In Broomie’s case it might be online solitaire.

Always get a kick out of people thinking old people aren’t tech savvy. They forget the old people invented the tech. That said I call my son to fix my tech so I can kick back, have a cup of coffee and marvel at how much I taught him. lol But don’t tell him.

Like the banana instead of an apple. Adds needed potassium.

A stroke of luck! Nerwin stroked the correct key, old Auntie Broom. Snerk.

That’s okay; we still love you….

I remember seeing a hard drive the size of a big refrigerator when I worked for Control Data in the late 60’s
