I missed a large chunk of this strip, so I haven’t seen this before. But I remember when Kim was one of the last Viet Nam orphans brought to America and adopted by the Rosenthals. She wasn’t even a toddler yet. Mike was in college.
In addition to being the last kid out of ’Nam, and the baby repeating the TV strips in the 70s, she also featured in the mid-80s in a strip week on the topic Asian-Americans and Asian immigrants out-performing white Americans in standardized math tests significantly on average.
Every older guy’s dream….hot, intelligent & much younger. Mike once had a dream of having a son with Kim but beyond that the second child never happened….
And so… the MIT connection and a positive intelligent female roll model for Alex. Though, her grandmother would fit that Bill if she paid any attention to her offspring. Intelligence is a combination of genes and the environmental nurturing of those genes…

At least to work in the industry, not even a bachelor isn’t required in the field of computer science.

Bernie would only want brainiacs like Kim crunching code for his company.

Nothing wrong with being smart. It’s only an issue when you start acting smart.

I’m confused. Did they just switch from the Steve Forbes event to Mike’s work?
