Hee hee, it is fun being retired, isn’t it Ben?

I hope he’s still in a good mood when he gets to the part that asks where he sees himself in 5 yrs. As a senior I stay away from that one.

Five more years. (sigh)

Did you just retire on Thursday, Ben?

You work a lot of years to place that x in the box!

I thought Ben had been retired for a long time. What is he retired from? Yes, I know my participle is dangling, and I don’t care.

When I get to that question now I say ‘me’.

Probably my favorite question, although I do still say I work for my bride of 47 years…when she’s not around to hear me say that.

Our “employer” is the government Ben.

Has it ever been established in the comic what Ben used to do for work?

An increasing number work for that company no one sees, “retired”.

For the next few years keep him away from news, google and other mind benders.

I think Daniel retired, too.

Never retired – still working extremely part time in my profession, even when husband left his job – he quit, he did not retire, and he also works extremely part time in his profession, plus our craft business – none show a profit. We live rather frugally, something no one in our families understands – they are sure we are hiding a pot of money that we don’t want them to know about.

So never will be able to list selves as retirees.
