I think Nate has ADHD. Here’s why: (before a bunch of angry 6 year olds swarm me, know that ADHD is not necessarily a bad thing, just a different way of working)According to

He also jumps from one thought to another. He often seems to slam into people(https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2003/08/24), (https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2015/09/14), which means he doesn’t pay attention when he walks. Nate is also impulsive. Not physically impulsive, but he does seem to shout out/doing stuff he regrets(https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2015/03/01), (https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2002/04/03), and not think things through. Nate constantly fidgets and he is unable to sit still(https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2009/01/14), (https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2017/05/14).

I thought that Teddy would end up rivaling Nate’s love for Cheez Doodles, and then Nate goes crazy when Teddy devours the whole pile and then goes after the vending machine for some more (then again, didn’t the school replace the vending machine?)
