Big Nate Sunday strip idea: Nate once again has these “cats vs dogs” debate with Francis. As usual, Nate says that dogs are better than cats. To prove his point about dogs being better than cats, Nate walks up to a cat, but it isn’t actually a cat, it’s a skunk. Nate gets sprayed and it ends with him bathing in tomato juice and Francis mocking him.

1:00: Break into the school without breaching the alarm

1:15:Start setting up the pranks

5:15: Finish pranks and rush back home before someone finds out

Huh, I have to hand it to Nate, he did do a lot of work for this prank. Also, this arc has been really good, one of the better prank day arcs imo

Doesn’t matter for the joke, but the sprinkler system is not set off by a smoke alarm. They’re set off by heat. If it gets hot enough, a small glass bulb inside each sprinkler head bursts, and it releases water from that head.
