Ah, one of life’s little lessons, Miles: you ARE judged by the company you keep. . .of course, it could just as easily be seen from Kev’s POV, too.

But what did Kevin do to deserve this?

My guess is Kevin did the ultimate bad thing in the library, He switched all the books and put them in the wrong places. Mystery in nonfiction, children’s books in self-help, etc.

Miles is about to have a blinking fit (probably due to amazement).

Looking at the older comics, Kevin’s skin and hair looks way less muted then the color in the strips nowadays.. I think it looked better back then
