This arc and the locale of the frames continues to lead me to believe that Stantis is doing something with peyote.

As the days go by, I am faced with the increasing inevitability that we are alone in a godless, uninhabited, hostile and meaningless universe. Still, you’ve got to laugh, haven’t you?

If I had the answer, I’d be out somewhere doing whatever I was supposed to be doing. ( I am pretty sure that it isn’t arguing over every detail of all our lives.)

So many people seem so preoccupied with looking for the “meaning of life” that they don’t bother living it. Why does there need to be a point?

Enjoy the ride while it lasts, maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the end. If not, at least you enjoyed the ride. :-)

Why are we here, what’s life all about?

The best answer I ever got was that the point was to be able, at the end, to be able to pass the red face test for the balance of your life to whomever or whatever you may face – even if it is just yourself.

There are people who seek meaning in life and there are those who give meaning to life. Make the right choice.

At the moment of death, you will be asked to rate existence. Are you going to respond “Would recommend” or “Would not recommend”?

Harry Neilson… “The Point”

Any significance is among our selves. Even with a near infinity of duplicates of us among quintillions of alternate worlds we still only get one life in one of them. Make it count, speak to you neighbor, parent, sister/brother, stranger.

These two characters seem to have some variation on this same insipid argument in every cartoon from Mr. Stantis. It used to be a quirky, thought-provoking series. Now, it’s just repetitive and boring.
