My recently deceased wife and I had many dogs and cats through our 34 year marriage and “if” you got the animal you had there are some I would like to have again. But each “new” animal was a joy too.
I want to be completely honest here. I never would have gotten into this comic if it weren’t for Nate-Spidgewood. Even if the guy was a real jerk (even to the point of getting me banned from TVTropes back in 2015 when he asked me to do a favor for him), I admit that that was the one good thing he did for me.
My boi, Buckles, has just accomplished one of the greatest goals of all canine kind. Bravo, bro…now, chase Scrappy and be successful with it! (Oh, wait, he wasn’t yet introduced into the strip at this point…)
