Since people seem to be interested in the distances, Its a 777 km drive from Witless Bay (east side of Newfoundland proper, on the Avalon Peninusula) to Jerry’s Nose (west side of Newfoundland, hard by Port aux Port). Its another 1350 km by car and ferry from there to Saint-Louis-Du-Ha in Lower Canada. Apparently Satch’s family moved around a LOT. And since we referenced it earlier, from Saint-Louis-Du-Ha to Medicine Hat is a 3800 km road trip. Pack some snacks.
