Big panel: You never know, sometimes it works. Years ago I got caught in a huge snow storm coming down the Black Diamonds at Wolf Creek, Colorado. I caught sight of someone wearing a blaze orange coat (it was the only thing I could make out) and stayed on him all the way down to the lodge. All the while thinking, " I hope he really knows where he’s going". Turns out his coat was for Ski Rescue and I’m sure thankful they chose that color. When I told him he said he thought he sensed me but had to maintain his his focus on what little terrain he could make out.
