Good luck with that, Mother Gargoyle!! Unless you live out in the boonies, you’ll always have some eejits setting off fireworks, even in the rain!! And that’s exactly what’s happening in my local area – - just past midnight and raining!!

She stays in on the 4th of July. Halloween is her big night out.

Well then, kerfuffle it is!!!

I don’t like kerfuffle too. A quiet evening and a nice cup of tea works for me.

When we went to a fireworks display, poor hubby ended up with a migraine from the loud bangs.

She just described Mardi Gras!

I’m early to bed and early to rise. Fireworks make me cranky in the morning when I don’t get my sleep.

Grammie can dish out kerfuffle to Brutus, but can’t take it herself.

Two quotes come to mind, 1, ‘Get in good trouble, necessary trouble’, (the late John Lewis), and 2, There can be too much of a good thing. (Mom).

yes, my family too, we’ll just watch though. money is super tight this year. At least we got some party poppers and sparkers. :D

I just hope Kewpie doesn’t have to endure the fireworks. A real kerfuffle for animals

I’ve spent the past week, making Brutus look lucky. Sunday last my car was totaled in an accident. I have a rental my insurance paid for 10 days on, and am nervous driving a new car that resembles something out of Star Trek. Watched "Yankee Doodle Dandy this afternoon, had some BBQ’ed ribs and potato salad….now to sit back and jump with each explosion. Did have a friend/notary stop and take care of some of the tons of paperwork. Hope everyone’s 4th is better than mine.
