Why did Garfield eat a tofu burger? Premise 1. As my vet said, a sufficiently hungry cat will eat anything. Premise 2. Garfield is always hungry. QED. Garfield ate a tofu burger since it must have been all that was available.

I’m not too fond of tofu burgers or veggie burgers either. Also, you’d think that Garfield can tell if a burger is real or fake, but he didn’t.

Had a wrap last night with ‘plant based’ chicken. I’ll have to admit – not too bad. But as Garfield pointed out; it did leave a funky aftertaste ….

to the point that his lips were stuck after his teeth? OUCH!

I have been a vegetarian since the 1980s, and veggie burgers were pretty awful back then. They have improved immensely and the new Beyond and Impossible burgers and sausages and all the Field Roast veggie sausage products are DeLish!!!

Now that’s a sensation I’ll never know.

I agree. Burps can taste nasty.

I thought his punchline would be “ Is BEING a tofu burger”.
