Hey, where’s the 42 comments that were on here already last night? Bagels today, and french toast with fresh red raspberries.

This is strange. Usually when I stop for a visit there is at least a page of comments to go through, not just three.

Doctortoon, you must be right that everyone was having way too much fun.

I brought some fresh cinnamon buns to add to breakfast.

I also want to make a HUGE deposit to the bank.I’ve had to draw on it pretty heavily lately. My husband had been laid off a couple of weeks ago, but now he has gotten another job. At least this one is in Alberta so he doesn’t have to be away from home so long.

Good morning all! Week #2 in new job, starting to get used to the new schedule so maybe I’ll be able to visit more.

Morning all. I have been having this nagging feeling that our little Tribe is going to be forced to be disassembled by the powers that be. I hope that it is my just my own sense of insecurity and not some portent of things to come.

Enough of my negative thoughts. It is another beautiful day here in paradise. My goal is to try to do as little as possible today.

Good morning Tribe. No Krispy Kreams today, even my imagination is coughing too much to exit the house. If I’m not better tomorrow I’m calling El Doctore.

Serena Congradulations to hubby on his new job and thanks for the Karma deposit. I’m withdrawing a chunk of that Karma to sprinkle on my spouse, who has been looking since 10/08 for the elusive employment.

Despite being under the weather I have been able to get a little bit done mostly processing old mai (shredding). It’s rather mindless and not tiring.

No breakfast for me..unless there is some soup hanging around. I’ll try to keep checking back.

Cleo (and others who asked) - New job is going good. It’s actually a new old job, I’m working for the company who sold off a large portion (including me) to the company who let me go this spring. Nice that I already know some of the faces, and routines, but unfortunately a more expensive commute and I leave about 1/2 hour earlier.

Hello everyone, got a little overtime in today. Lucky me. I think that that girl has been brainwashed, either that or she is stupid. Oh yeah, I probably won’t be on much the rest of the week, because I need more sleep, and visiting the Tribe seems to occupy a lot of time (weird right?). As for the sleep deprivation, today, I forgot to duck getting into the shower, and smacked my head on the poles holding the sliding door in place. I can’t afford to forget to keep doing things like that in the future. lol.

@cleo, I find that, wherever my thoughts may be, keeping your eyes on a woman’s face, if you should be looking at her socially at all, is the best way to avoid black eyes. Or red cheeks.

Hey johnnyd & bmonk. Actually bmonk, in the summer I tend to wear sunglasses, then I can talk to the ladies and let my eyes wander. I forgot with carmy though and she walloped me big time. The strip mentioned bon bons and that got me started and it didn’t improve from there.

Phew!!! I have finally ended a 2 + year battle with the builder of my steps and deck on the lake. It has been so stressful and for once when talking to someone on the phone during a stressful encounter, I managed to think of everything I wanted to say over a phone call with the son and then with the father. Yes, Chrome is the google browser. I switched to it when I had problems with Firefox and one of my emails. But that was straightened out so I switched back to Firefox. same reason, Shika had - I couldn’t remember some of my passwords. (Since then I have solved that problem too. I write them down in a code I remember and keep them very safe.)

just a byt of subject change…but have you guys seen many honey bees yet?? I have seen 2 and 1 was dying !! he got caught in our shop over nyte and was sorta covered in motor oil and grease!! I took him outside and sat him next to a small stream in the hopes he wood perhaps clean him/her selfe…I like to think he thanked me…he didnt sting me when I piked him up so I prefer to think he was grateful…. I am sure mother earth approved tho

Owlsly, I’m not sure what honey bees look like, but I have seen some bees buzzing around the crape myrtle tree next to my driveway.

you can always tell a honey bee…they fly with purpose…will usually ignore you and always apear to be nonthreatening..they will have small clumps of “powder” behind their rear legs(pollen) and to be quite frank…they are pretty…google honey be and take a look…they are one of the planets sweetest creatures

and along with bumble bees…they are usually the only ones on the lawn in the clover…so dont use poisons on the lawn

Owlsly, I will google honey bees in a couple of minutes.

Owlsly, I saw some honeybee photos. I pretty sure that they are the same type of bees I saw on the crape myrtle. There were about 2 or 3 bees in the flowers of the tree.
