I did not know that teeth had skin.

That’s about how I got to graduate from high school. It wasn’t so much my class averages that had me in trouble, although in a couple of classes, I was cutting it really close. But for any non-regents finals, you had to get at least a 50% (even though that was a failing grade) or you failed the class no matter how well you did the rest of the year. Regents finals had to pass and the minimum grade was a 65%. I was so upset because I thought I really blew it with my accounting exam. I wasn’t feeling well and so I wasn’t always thinking straight. A couple times I made a mistake on something simple and while I caught myself on those, I was afraid there were others I didn’t catch. I got a 58%. I actually did worse on US Government when I wasn’t sick (53%). And then ironically, I did better on my Social Science exam (all essay) when I felt even worse. Apparently being sick helped rather than hindered.

This pandemic is ruining everything.

Job 19:20 My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.

Actually, Job, in the Bible used that expression first. Of course, it is an analogy.

Excuse of the century!!!!

The kids that attended the Catholic school across the street got a great education this year. Was only closed for two weeks, because one kid got exposed at home and they shut down as a precaution.

When baby teeth first erupt they may be covered by a thin membrane called Nasmyth’s Membrane. A simple scraping removes it.

Many memories are soon forgotten.
