    200 / 31 = 6.45 minutes a day. It is slightly better during 30 day months.

Two hundred minutes is 3 hours and 20 minutes. That would be about 2-3 average phone calls for some people I know, and they’re not even teenagers.

The first cell phone I personally owned (that is, not a company phone) had a 100 minute plan. I never exceeded the limit.

Much later I got ‘unlimited’ plans (most ‘unlimited’ plans have limitations buried in the fine print) and for calls not going near tech support I still mostly kept them short, under two minutes. Tech support calls would run up the minutes, of course. I’ve been on hold with Microsoft non-support for 90 minutes on several occasions.

I don’t think i’ve used 200 minutes talking on a cellphone in total since I got one 10 years ago. My annual catch up on the news Christmas calls to my 2 brothers last maybe 5 minutes combined between the 2 phone calls and i talk with them more than anyone else.

We got our first phones (Nokia Candy Bars) when I travelled two-three weeks each month for work. The plan had unlimited minutes between phones on the plan and lovely wife and I would camp out on our phones for hours at a stretch :-)

People use texts so much now instead of talking 200 is fine. But I HATE people who ask you a series of questions by text, forcing you, if you are so inclined, to take part in what seems like a never ending text a thon. Just talk and ask!! One interaction.
