I remember a Columbo episode where the forgotten password on whatever primitive computer they were using turned out to be “password”. That’s another idea which apparently has seemed clever to a lot of people.
Those password rules are actually mostly useless. What’s important is for systems to not allow password guessing (e.g., lock the account for a while after three bad passwords), and for users to never reuse passwords, which means a different password for every system they use.

Sorry, Barn! “Hottie Foxxie” password is taken. Maybe Duane will let you have it?

The only truly secure password is “correct horse battery staple”.

Most systems these days require that passwords include non-alphabetic characters. Some even require more than alphanumerics.

I had to change my password monthly. It can be a pain trying to remember constantly new passwords and the password couldn’t be reused
