Is Drabble’s kid THAT DENSE??????

He could be referring to Art Linkletter who was the original host of Jeopardy!

At his age, Patrick should know art isn’t a person.

There just pulling dad’s leg

Maybe John Muir’s kids were that bad. Could explain how he had the time & desire to do all he did- just to get away from them.

Dad can return the favor (pay them back) by doing and saying things to embarrass them (in front of their friends) when they get older.

Raising kids is like going through a fast food drive through—there’s a pretty good chance you aren’t going to get exactly what you wanted!

But you Ralph, are no John Muir.

During his lifetime John Muir published over 300 articles and 12 books. He co-founded the Sierra Club, which helped establish a number of national parks after he died. Today the club has over 2.4 million members. Muir has been called the “patron saint of the American wilderness” and its “archetypal free spirit”.

was in the tour business for 30 years- for the life of me, i could never understand why people drag their kids along. (still don’t- retired 4 years ago)

Years when they\ kids tell the story to THEIR children it will retold in a much different fashion and more reverent manner….
