In the books Tarzan had to learn the languages of the many people with lost civilizations in Africa. Fortunately, in the comics, every human everywhere speaks English… I’ve seen some American tourists like that in other countries. If you speak loudly and slowly enough they will understand you (they believe) – and if the act like they don’t understand you it’s fake.
