Do not resuscitate…..

I think I’d rather have the pull plugged. (And yes, “plugged pulled” is rather jarring.)

I don’t think I’d be prone to living in Catatonia or any state that’s in favour of inserting plugs.

Dad was in the hospital about 7 years ago after a heart attack. I’d long ago steeled myself to tell the doc when it was time. It was terribly hard to listen as the doc asked dad about a DNR order. 97 now and still kicking. My cell is always on and within arms length

The lights are on but is anybody home? Maybe he left the tv on for the canary?

If he is prone (i.e. lying face down) he’d have a hard time watching TV.

When did Catatonia become a state? My money was on Washington, D.C. so I guess I wasn’t far off.

I believe he’s already there.

In this example, he’s clearly sick abed in a hospital & connected to life support. He wouldn’t be prone, he’d be supine. Gary Brookins and Susie MacNelly KNOW that.

In a catatonic state is the best way to watch TV.

It happened to my best friend. He could move only his eyelids; but he chose to hang on for a month to spend Christmas with his kids.

Regarding body positioning, prone generally means lying face down, supine means lying face up, and prostrate means stretched out lying flat, often submissively.

What has prone got to do with it? Can’t they pull the plug if you’re supine?

How does one watch tv in a prone position – which is face down?

A catatonic state? I thought that was what Florida was called. When I lived there, we called Florida “God’s Waiting Room”!
