once again I feeled impelled to point out that evolution requires change, not necessarily progress.

The gene pool could use a shot of chlorine.

On the subject of evolution – they have found a plant that seems to have evolved to avoid being harvested by humans. Fritillaria delavayi, a Chinese medicinal plant, from regions that experience greater harvesting pressure are more camouflaged than those from less harvested areas.

All animals continue to evolve until they are optimal for their environment, like sharks. There is always change and the less optimal get weeded out in favor of the more optimal. This is why man is getting dumber; because optimal in this case means “more successful at reproduction” and smarter people tend to choose to have smaller families.

I evolved once. Didn’t like it so I went back.

You ASSUME they evolved…..

Stupidity is evolution’s answer to humanity.

Humanity is past evolution… and well into devolution.
