She was far too busy to have a baby herself, of course, and needed a regular supply. So she opened a free child care center in her office tower. The mothers thought she was a bit odd, but they were happy as long as she put the babies back.

There are ways to deal with that.

Side effects

My recollection is that the scent of babies is extremely variable.

It looks like Carol didn’t need to jump the shark after all.

I like the day-dream-like quality of these plots. She takes a small idea, then goes with it, and follows it out further and further until some funny/odd ending.
