They are passing out water to the tourists on the Strip. Wouldn’t want them to keel over. Meanwhile the locals are staying in their houses. I had to run down to Tuesday Morning to buy a muffin tin. ( mine are still in storage) there was nobody in the store but me.

As with most poetry, the Clerihew is defined by a set of rules. It must:

Include four lines.Contain rhyming couplets of AA/BB.Include a person’s name in the first line.Say something about that person.Be humorous. It is meant to be a funny poem, of course.

Yesterday on my way to work, I saw a red-winged blackbird chasing a hawk. I always get a laugh out of seeing little birds chasing away big birds.

Okay, this is really the final chapter on my home repair job. Paul had to give up on connecting the water intake to my faucets. He got the 3/8 inch stuff, but it didn’t fit. I had to call in a plumber. The plumber got the job done in 15 minutes – just in time for me to leave for work. It turns out that 3/8 inch was the right size, but the wrong type. It had to be a 3/8 inch COMPRESSION type, not the type we bought. We had the same issue with installing the new toilet. We needed a compression valve there, too. So 3/8 inch doesn’t always fit a 3/8 inch doohickey. Anyway, I now have a working toilet AND a working sink. Now I need to paint the bathroom. I don’t know what color I should paint, though.

Maine Coon cats are heavy sleepers, heavy walkers, heavy eaters … they are usually heavy. :)

The listener to K-ATZ seems to be enjoying the Zzzzzzzs….he hasn’t turned the radio off.

My baby could be a guest snoozer on that show!!!

Might be a good program to listen to. It would sound a lot more pleasant than one of those political talk shows. On another note, saw a junco, three robins, a chipmunk, a towhee, a dragonfly, a damselfly, a rabbit, a sparrow, and two Western tanagers while out walking today.
