A while back (I’m not going to search for the exact date), Clyde found a valuable painting by an early 20th century American painter in a dumpster, and donated it to a college art museum. If you did find something like that in the trash, you’d have to consider the possibility that it was stolen, and that the thief hadn’t been able to figure out where to sell it.
